Epilithic diatoms in environmental bioindication and trout farm’s effects on ecological quality assessment of rivers

• Small fish farms affected the ecological parameters and diversity of diatoms. Chemical in total explained highest portion variability. Water quality, based on majority diatom indices, was assessed as good. It is suggested to use proposed TID RS for running waters Serbia. Review Serbian legislation regarding status necessary. The main aim this study investigate application benthic diatoms efficiency indices water assessment rivers Serbia, well influence trout quality. Research conducted one year period along Crnica Radovanska (Eastern Serbia), 11 sampling sites (taking into account position that are built both rivers). Results showed affect physical chemical parameters, epilithic assemblage rivers. Canonical correspondence analysis (CCA) indicated among tested conductivity “EC”, hardness “WH”, sulfates “SO 4 2 - ”, ionized ammonia fraction “NH + nitrates “NO 3 – “, “pH”, mud, stone depth were most important variables affecting distribution species.
